I think this was the most satisfying of the trilogy. You had the introduction to the Three plus godlings in book one. In book two, you meet Itempas and realize that he had truly trapped himself, but that there is good at his core. The balance of people, the world, etc., is very evident. Nothing is wholly light or wholly dark. But Sieh's story...he being the oldest of the godling's...really pulls the past, the present, the future all together in such a wonderful way. These are rereadables. I loved the vivid world Jemisin created and won't mind revisiting.
